BEML’s Artillery Gun to Undergo Field Trials

India Defence Online, New Delhi – Jubilant Bhartia Group, a renowned diversified Indian conglomerate, has signalled its entry into the defence sector by announcing its plans to manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in India.

India Finalizes Free Trade Pact with Japan

India has finalised a bilateral trade pact with Japan without having to fully commit on opening government purchases to foreign companies and without agreeing to tighter intellectual property rules. The agreement is to be signed during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Tokyo next month.
