Dmitry Medvedev Starts 3 Day Visit to India

 Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will today start his official three day visit to India where he is expected to discuss issues related to trade, the economy, energy, cultural cooperation and international issues. Medvedev it expected to meet India’s President Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Foreign Minister SM Krishna.

IAF Awards Sensor Fused Weapons Contract to Textron

India Defence Online, New Delhi – The latest development in the Indo-US defence dealings has been clearing the sale of the CBU-105 sensor fused weapon to India from the US. The sale of 510 CBU-105 sensor fused weapons will fall under the Foreign Ministry Sales (FMS) route and the contract goes to Textron Systems Corporation.

Indian Exports Increased by a Staggering 27%

Indian exports increased by a staggering 27% between April-November 2010 to US$ 140 billion. The results have been so positive that analysts are forecasting a sum of US$ 215 billion for 2010-2011.
